Each One Teach one Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that empowers youth through scholarships, resources, and connections to various professionals that are leaders in a plethora of industries. We believe that children are the very essence of the future and who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. As an organization focused on youth development, we go above and beyond to provide students an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders tomorrow. Our goals are to shape the way they live their lives and teach them the fundamentals of social responsibility, healthy living and cultural acceptance. We offer youth an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and leadership activities. We see the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to transform them into natural born leaders, ready to take on the world.

Scholarship Award Recipient:
Armorie Hagans

Help us congratulate our first ever Each One Teach One Scholarship recipient, Armorie Hagans. Armorie is a 2024 graduate of Washington Marion High School. He will be attending Southern University and A&M  College this fall majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. He currently has maintained a 3.6 GPA, all while dedicating his time to various clubs and organizations. To name a few, Armorie is the Senior Drum Major of the Marching Jukebox Band, Senior Class President, member of Student Council, Key Club, 4-H Club, JRTOC, Beta Club, Track and Field, Washington Marion Educators Rising Program, Fellowship of Christian Athletes(FCA), Student Ambassador of Washington Marion, Morning Announcement Crew, Quiz Bowl, and more.

 

We believe he is well on track to be an upstanding leader in the community and has promised to dedicate his time to the organization in the future to give back.

Meet Founder and CEO
D'Tara "DT" Frank

Each One Teach One Foundation is proud to spotlight our Founder & CEO, D’Tara “DT” Frank! DT is a visionary leader, community advocate, and dynamic role model with a deep rooted passion for empowering the next generation. With over 15 years of experience in Large Capital Projects within the industrial construction sector, she brings strategic project execution, people centered leadership, and unwavering resilience to everything she touches.

​

Currently serving as a Construction Manager at one of the world’s leading global chemical companies, DT is also a devoted mother, mentor, and culture shaper. She proudly serves as one of the directors of the internationally recognized Fabulous Dancing Dolls of Southern University and A&M College, where she continues to cultivate talent, discipline, and confidence in young women through the art of dance and fitness.

 

Her community impact is far-reaching:

​

  • Board Co-Chair Elect of the Houston Dow Institute (HDI), a nonprofit focused on expanding college access through scholarships

  • Board Member of the Texas Supremacy of Music & Arts Conservatory (TSMAC), advancing equitable access to music and dance education

  • Former Board Member of the Human Jukebox Alumni Association (HJAA) (2020–2022)

  • Active Contributor on the CII NextGen Task Force, helping build diverse leadership pipelines in construction

  • Implementation Champion for the Construction Industry Institute (CII)

  • Active volunteer with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), supporting students and early career professionals interested in STEM and construction

​

Through her nonprofit, Each One Teach One Foundation, and even prior to its founding, DT has led impactful youth outreach and development initiatives, ranging from career readiness workshops and college prep sessions to mentorship programs, scholarship drives, and grassroots service projects funded with her own resources. Her work spans classroom visits, empowerment panels, and direct support to under resourced students, all grounded in her mission to equip today’s youth with the tools and confidence to succeed.

 

DT holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern University (2010) and an MBA from LSU Shreveport (2020). A proud HBCU alumna, she remains a passionate advocate for educational equity and excellence.

 

Outside of her career and community efforts, DT enjoys staying spiritually grounded and being an active, engaged mother to her son. Her many hobbies include traveling the world, learning a second language, golfing, playing softball, cycling, taking dance classes, mentoring students, networking with like minded professionals, and cheering on her favorite football teams.

 

Fun Fact: DT has graced the stage and screen with global icons, most notably Beyoncé, appearing in music videos and live performances that reflect her lifelong passion for dance and creative expression.

 

Raised from humble beginnings, DT understands the value of hard work, faith, and opportunity. She has made it her life’s mission to continue breaking barriers and use her platform to unlock the potential in others, one lesson, one opportunity, and one life at a time.
